Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations and financial reporting for a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting executive decision-making, and overseeing daily accounting activities. This is an on-site position and the successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership while managing a small accounting team.

• Oversee all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, inventory, and payroll
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Communicate financial results and operational insights to executive leadership
• Support business planning activities and ensure financial consistency with approved plans
• Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
• Provide timely financial status updates to management
• Coordinate year-end financial reviews with external CPA firms
• Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies
• Manage daily cash flow and support special projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with company safety and health policies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 5–7 years of accounting and financial reporting experience
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
• Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with ERP systems;
  Plex experience is a plus
• CPA certification is beneficial
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Physical & Travel Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer for several hours per day
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, or lift up to 25 pounds
• Occasional exposure to plant environments with high noise levels and elevated temperatures
• Occasional travel may be required
