Accounting Manager – Direct Hire

Location:

Englewood, OH

Salary: $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• 5-7 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience with Plex ERP is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and financial reporting skills.

• Drive the financial health of the organization by overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Work closely with company leadership to provide strategic financial insights, improve efficiencies, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial processes.

• Prepare and deliver accurate, timely monthly financial reports, communicating results and key insights to company leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations to support business objectives, growth initiatives, and operational decisions.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
• Oversee and coordinate all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash management, inventory accounting, payroll, and HR administration support.
• Monitor organizational financial performance and provide management with regular updates on financial status and key metrics.
• Assist with year-end financial reviews and audits conducted by the company's CPA firm.
• Prepare and submit reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Support the administration of employee benefit programs.
• Manage daily cash flow and cash management activities.
• Lead or participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
• Promote and support compliance with company safety and health policies.
