WhatYou Will Do
- Proactively develop, maintain, and deepen trusted relationships with clients by understanding their business needs, providing strategic insights, and delivering exceptional service.
- Manage end-to-end outsourced accounting service engagements, including evaluating client accounting systems, overseeing implementation of new technologies, and ensuring seamless integration with business operations.
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement within client accounting processes, provide actionable recommendations and lead the implementation of best practices to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Oversee the complete accounting cycle for clients, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial work papers and reports prepared by both internal team members and external partners to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with firm and regulatory standards.
- Lead initiatives to research, evaluate, and implement new technologies and tools that enhance service delivery, streamline workflows, and create value for both the firm and its clients.
- Collaborate with leadership in preparing proposals and presentations for prospective clients, contributing to the firm's growth strategy and showcasing service capabilities.
- Represent the firm at professional events, networking functions, and industry forums to build brand awareness, foster relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members, supporting their professional growth through training, mentorship, and leadership development initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or organizational accounting operations, including accounting system workflows, financial statement preparation, and supervision of accounting, payroll, and sales tax functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Quick Books Pro Advisor designation.
- Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license.
- Prior experience with Case Ware, Fixed Assets CS, and
- Experience working with Quick Books, Quick Books Online, Intacct, or similar general ledger software package.
