Laundry Operator - Reception and Treatment Center

Responsibilities

Control operations of laundry to include washing, drying, ironing, sorting, delivery and maintenance using inmate labor. Maintain safety and sanitation of laundry area.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  Experience in commercial housekeeping, sanitation, and/or laundry operations with responsibility for procuring and storing cleaning agents and supervising subordinates. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  At least one year of correctional experience to include supervision of inmates.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Applicants must pass medical exam, drug test, and the fully paid NE Corrections Training Program.
