Responsibilities
- Lead teams and collaborate with construction management and inspection teams
- Lead planning, coordination, and execution of natural gas pipeline and other construction projects
- Account for front end construction planning, estimate development, analysis, and contract management
- Provide input in QA/QC staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management, and liaison activities with business partners
- Provide input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection
- Review contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claims
- Develop and run construction progress reporting
- Lead construction closeout
- Perform audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements
- Anticipate and proactively address potential issues and claims
- Provide onsite leadership to the inspection team
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience
- Five (5) years’ experience on large projects (greater $50M)
- Must be willing to travel up to 75%
- Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
- Must be able to carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
- Must be willing to work at elevated levels using man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE
- Must be able to use hand tools
- Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Excellent organizational/interpersonal skills
- Safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management preferred
- Experience working on power generation, high voltage infrastructure, and/or large industrial facilities projects preferred
- CCM (CMAA) Certification preferred
Demonstrates expertise in leading construction projects, including natural gas pipeline and large industrial facilities, with a strong focus on planning, execution, and quality assurance. Proficient in contract management, cost/schedule oversight, and onsite leadership while ensuring safety and compliance.
