Teacher Aide – Floating position in the Hennessey/Enid Area. Responsible for assisting the Head Start teacher with planning and delivery of the educational program, providing positive guidance and discipline, supervising children in the classroom, playground, and during transportation. Shares in the responsibility for the safety and well‑being of the children.

• Assist the Head Start teacher with planning and delivery of the educational program.
• Provide appropriate positive guidance and discipline.
• Supervise children in the classroom, on the playground, and during transportation.
• Share responsibility for the safety and well‑being of the children.

• Age 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s and/or AA degree preferred.
• Two years of childcare or Head Start experience preferred.
• Must have a CDA credential or a state‑awarded certificate meeting or exceeding CDA requirements, or be enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate or baccalaureate degree, or be enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of hire.
• Free of communicable diseases and no criminal history as verified by DHS Office of Background Investigation.
• Current Oklahoma driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
