Tenure-Track Assistant​/Associate Professor of Psychology - Department of Psychology

Position Available:
Full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology at the NWOSU Alva or Enid campus. Available:
January 2025. General Information: NWOSU is a multi-campus, state-assisted regional institution accredited by the Higher Learning Commission with campuses in Alva, Enid, and Woodward.

• Primarily a teaching institution; teach 27 credit hours per academic year;
• Committee participation and student advisement beginning second year.

• Earned doctorate in psychology/counseling/counselor education or related field;
• Excellence in teaching, scholarship, professional activity preferred;
• ABD considered at instructor level;
• Ability to instruct/supervise/sponsor research;
• Support undergraduate and graduate programs;
• Distance education experience desirable.

• Master’s degree in psychology/counseling/counselor education (master’s appointed at instructor; terminal degree required for assistant professor on tenure track).
