We are currently seeking local candidates based in Farmington, NM or in the surrounding area. Local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.
ResponsibilitiesThe Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) provides advanced technical oversight and ensures consistent application of visual inspection standards. They review and approve inspection procedures, interpret complex specifications, and make accept/reject decisions on critical components.
Level III inspectors may serve as project leads, provide technical direction to lower-level inspectors, and liaise with engineering, quality, and client representatives.
QualificationsThis role requires extensive experience, mastery of relevant certifications, and strong knowledge of codes such as ASME, AWS, or API.
