Part Time Teller – Lincoln, RI
We’re hiring a Part Time Teller to serve customers in a global, technology‑driven banking environment. You’ll assist with transactions, provide exceptional service, and protect the bank from risk.
Responsibilities- Assist customers with their banking needs and transaction processing (deposits, withdrawals, transfers).
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Adhere to bank policies, compliance, and risk management protocols to prevent fraud.
- Recognize cross‑sell opportunities and promote bank products to deepen relationships.
- Engage customers through digital tools to educate them on self‑service options.
- Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and create a welcoming environment.
- Support nearby branch locations as needed based on business necessity.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 months experience in cash handling.
- Minimum 6 months demonstrated customer service experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and passion for helping others.
- Ability to identify and report risk concerns.
- Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance engagement.
- Energetic, organized, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Availability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Established work history or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.
BenefitsBase Pay Range: $30,000.00 – $47,000.00 USD annually for hourly positions (based on a 40‑hour work week). Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, and location.
