The Director of Pharmacy oversees all aspects of pharmacy operations within GSP Health. The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring compliance, managing pharmacy staff, and optimizing pharmacy services to meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers. The Director of Pharmacy collaborates with various departments to develop and implement strategies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacy department.

- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
D) degree from an accredited institution. - Current and valid pharmacy license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmacy management, with a focus on 340B program administration preferred.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in staff management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of medications, ensuring accurate inventory management, and safe medication practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication therapy and promote medication safety.
- Lead and manage pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and participate in quality improvement initiatives, such as medication safety programs, adverse event reporting, and medication utilization evaluations.
- Stay updated with current trends, advancements, and regulatory changes in pharmacy practice to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to healthcare providers.
- Oversee the pharmacy information systems, automation, and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in medication management.
- Develop, implement, and oversee the 340B program to maximize benefits while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Monitor changes in 340B program guidelines and adjust operational procedures accordingly.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize program outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular audits to assess and enhance compliance with 340B regulations.
