Description:
Must live 100 miles away. Shift time is from 8 AM to 8 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The technologist can pick up an additional 4 hours on another day if mutually accepted. Must be willing to be on call if a 2nd or 3rd shift technician is off for PTO or sickness. Normally, the 2nd and 3rd shifts are covered, and on-call is not needed.
Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors. Analyze body habitus to adjust technical factors correctly. Position the body accurately. Review physician's orders and obtain pertinent clinical data. Consistently produce high-quality radiographs and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self. Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, and contrast reactions. Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
