Position OverviewThe Enid Area Director will report to the Oklahoma Regional Director in overseeing daily operations across residential services in the Enid area. This position will support and mentor leadership staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and help individuals thrive. This is a dynamic leadership role for someone who is hands‑on, passionate about advocacy, and committed to driving excellence.
Duties- Coach and inspire Program Coordinators and empower them to lead exceptional Direct Support teams
- Drive day‑to‑day operations — ensuring programs run efficiently, compassionately, and in full compliance
- Monitor and manage budgets to ensure financial health and sustainability
- Champion the rights and dignity of every individual we serve
- Complete and oversee all required documentation with precision and timeliness
- Conduct regular and unannounced and announced site visits to ensure high standards
- Be ready to support staff and solve problems as they arise
- Create, implement, and update operational policies that reflect both regulatory and Brighter Day values
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and coordinate with DDS as needed
Promote awareness of ethical standards, quality assurance, and continuous improvement - Ensure every team member receives the training and support they need to succeed
- Report regularly on area operations and outcomes
- Live within 60 miles of the Enid area
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 5 years of progressive experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- At least 3‑5 years of supervisory experience required
- Valid driver’s license, clear driving record, and up‑to‑date auto insurance required
- Strong communicator — written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail
- Flexible and dependable in a fast‑paced, ever‑evolving environment
- Grounded, compassionate, and ethical leadership style
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Sound understanding of financials, staffing models, and regulatory systems
- Able to bend, stoop, sit, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs with or without accommodation
