General Maintenance Technician-Willow Philly Enid Plant

Job Summary

This role is part of the Prepared Foods Division where you will work cross‑functionally across every area of our facility, maintaining equipment to influence company performance and ensure Team Member safety. Pay is determined by experience and paid weekly.

• Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and the team.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
• Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
• Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.

• Education and Experience:
  
  At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or education (e.g., industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation; ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Effective communication and basic math skills required.
• Special
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; lift 20 lbs. frequently. Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day. Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, stoop. Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling. Frequent overhead work. Temperatures inside the plant may vary from “-25°C to over 100°C;
  
  outside work may also be needed.
