Join our team as a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician (FSQA), where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

• Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
• Document and calculate results accurately.
• Take corrective action when necessary: alert personnel to adjust processes, identify, segregate, isolate non‑conforming products, and report results to management.
• Handle additional assignments as requested.

This position works 1st Shift. Pay is $21.95/hour, paid weekly.

• Environment: Normal for a food manufacturing setting.
• Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 70 pounds; heavy lifting 50 lbs or more; stand on hard surface up to 12 hours per day; work in cold/hot temperatures and wet environment; repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling; reach high and low levels frequently; climb step ladders or stairs; work overtime and weekends.
• Safety Equipment: Steel‑toed work boots, hard hats, safety glasses, hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), and smocks are required. Cell phones and jewelry are not permitted on the factory floor.
• Lock Out Tag Out certification required.

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the food manufacturing industry or related Quality Assurance experience.

  Ability to complete Tyson paperwork, lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce, problem identification and solving, math and organizational skills, read and interpret product specifications, function well under stress, flexibility to work where and when needed.
• Physical: Heavy lifting (50 lbs or more), ability to stand up to 12 hours on hard surface, work in varied temperatures and wet environment, repetitive motions, reach high/low levels, climb stairs, work overtime/ weekends, Lock Out Tag Out certification.
