This position is responsible for product movement within the facility and/or loading product for shipment. This position will be responsible for operating machinery include ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to perform mobile equipment operation, maintain lock out tag out certification, stacking, inspections, material checks, racking, and rack pushing.
- Must be willing and able to be certified in pallet jack, fall protection and forklift.
- Must have basic computer skills to complete required training or tasks.
- Must be willing and able to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat and reach.
- Must be willing and able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to work in the cold (10 degrees below zero to 105 degrees) or damp environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends.
- Must be willing and able to read and understand labels, recipes, and instructions, and communicate effectively.
Requirements:
Must have 6 months of work history with one employer in the past 24 months.
