Overview
Elara Caring Hospice is seeking Veteran Volunteers to visit with Veteran hospice patients to provide a listening ear and comfort by being present.
We are also seeking Veterans to assist with honoring ceremonies to recognize the service of men and women who served in the military. Words of honor and thanks are spoken, and a commemorative pin is presented.
Responsibilities- Visit veteran hospice patients to provide companionship and a listening ear.
- Assist with honoring ceremonies—recognize military service, offer words of thanks, and present commemorative pins.
