As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Garland Road Nursing & Rehab Center
, you will work an 8‑hour shift to provide residents with personal care, support the charge nurse, and deliver exceptional service as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner that ensures safety and comfort, in line with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of resident status at the beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within policy and procedure.
• Observe and report resident conditions, documenting observations as required.
• Comply with safe‑lifting and safe‑transfer procedures for residents.
• Be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Ensure that equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
