As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Garland Road Nursing & Rehab Center in Enid, OK, you will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders. You will be responsible for ensuring that the highest quality services are delivered in a customer‑service‑friendly environment. You are a key part of our clinical team and resident care.

Responsibilities- Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
- Administer medication/treatments as prescribed.
- Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
- Implement and evaluate care plans.
- Identify and secure equipment supplies.
- Direct and oversee subordinates.
- Participate in duty assignments.
- Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
- Oversee and monitor the functions and activities of subordinate staff.
- Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate action, discipline, and training.
- Monitor infection control compliance.
- Investigate and document accidents/incidents.
- Current, unrestricted LVN license in the state of practice.
- Previous skilled nursing experience.
- Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
