Qualifications

As a CNA, you will play a key role in patient care. You will ensure smooth operations, collaborate with nursing staff, work the members of a team to evaluate patients and implement patient care within the scope of CNA practice.

Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Current Oklahoma Certified Nurse Aide license.
  • BLS is required prior to beginning orientation or working on a floor.
  • Experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • De‑escalation (TEAM) training completed within 6 months of hire.
  • Assist with activities of daily living i.e., bathing, skin care, dressing, feeding, ambulating, transporting, and bed changing.
  • Take and record vital signs and I&O’s, apply ice bags, aqua K pads, and specialty appliances.
  • Complete or review worksheet of assignments for patient care within 30 minutes of shift change.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the age of patients served in his/her assigned service area.
  • Obtains and documents vital signs as instructed per policy and nurse.
