LPN Medsurg PRN
SummaryPerforms the functions of LPN in implementing and evaluating nursing care for all assigned patient care in collaboration with a registered nurse. Practices nursing in accordance with established standard of practice, policies and procedures.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Participates in the modification of the plan of care by collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team with consideration of the developmental needs of the patient.
- Participates in the evaluation of the patient’s response to interventions based upon predicted outcome.
- Reassesses the patient as defined in the Nursing Standards of Care Policy and modifies the plan of care as needed.
- Contributes to the assessment of the patient by conducting focused assessments of the patient.
- Collects data and compares the data collected to the patient’s previous condition and documents/reports as appropriate.

- Current LPN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
- Current BLS required.
- Experience preferred.
- NIH Stroke Scale certified within 2 months of hire.
- Proof of IV therapy course through LPN education program or IV therapy venipuncture activity training course required within 6 months. Record of procedure proficiency.
- Venipuncture skills required.
- Basic computer skills required.
