American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring at least 3 years of ER experience, Cerner proficiency, and multiple AHA certifications.
Details- Emergency Department (ED) setting in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Patient population includes urgent care, psych, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients
- Critical care skills utilized include medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tube management
- 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week, rotating every other weekend
- 36 hours per week
- Cerner EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
- Active RN license (standard or compact) with no pending status
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Minimum 3 years of ER experience required, with at least 2 years in a US hospital setting
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required; BSN highly desired
- Cerner EMR experience required
- US Social Security Number required
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
- Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs, with a focus on safety, quality, and positive patient experience
- All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
