American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and a mid-shift schedule with rotating weekends.
Details- Fast-paced Emergency Department setting treating a wide variety of patient types including urgent care, psych, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients
- ED nurses perform advanced critical care skills including medication titrations, arterial line management, mass transfusion of blood products, and chest tube management
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Mid shift schedule with start times between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM
- 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts
- Rotating every other weekend required
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) — no pending licenses accepted
- Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a US hospital required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
- BSN highly desired
- Cerner EMR experience required
- US Social Security Number required
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
- Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs, with a focus on safety, quality, and positive patient experience
- Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
