Food Quality Assurance Technician; FSQA

Job Overview

Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician (FSQA) ensures the highest standards of food safety and quality at Tyson Foods.

• Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
• Document and calculate results accurately.
• Take corrective action, including alerting personnel, segregating non‑conforming products, and reporting results to management.
• Handle additional assignments as requested.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or related quality assurance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑identification and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic math and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
• Flexibility to work where and when needed, including overtime and weekend shifts.
• Ability to function well under stress.

• Lifting up to 70 pounds and performing heavy manual handling (50 lbs or more).
• Standing on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours per day.
• Working in cold, hot, and wet environments.
• Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing, and pulling.
• Reaching high and low levels; climbing step ladders and stairs.
• Position requires Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out certification.

1st Shift. Pay $21.95 per hour, paid weekly.

Must reside in the United States; local candidates prioritized. Sponsorship not available.
