Cashier- Part Time

About the Role

As a Cashier on the Front End Team, you will provide fast and friendly customer service, process sales transactions accurately, and ensure customers leave with a positive experience. In addition to cashier duties, you may also support sales associate, merchandiser, or stock associate responsibilities.

• Process sales transactions accurately, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Answer customer inquiries, promote the loyalty program, and bag products.
• Greet customers, build relationships, and inform them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to maintain product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1‑3 years of retail experience, with 1+ year in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend, and remain on feet for 8‑10 hours daily.
• Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets up to 50lbs.
• Climb ladders and lift 50lbs overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions.

Hourly rate $15.37 – $21.52, varying by location and experience. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location.
