You will be responsible for running the enterprise business development function for the region. This role involves hunting and account management, focusing on enterprise sales deliverables such as client acquisition and total revenue targets.
Primary Responsibilities- Set a strategic business development plan for target markets and ensure it aligns with the product team’s direction, encompassing target customers, partner ecosystem, and lead generation, activation, and closing approaches.
- Conduct meetings with client prospects, understand their requirements, present proposals, secure buy-in, and achieve closures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders—product development, support, legal, contracts, marketing, and communication—to drive the sales plan and address client requirements.
- Prepare and present business reviews on progress and roadblocks to closing new customers.
- Develop partnerships in the external ecosystem with relevant organizations to accelerate sales growth.
- Graduate/MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- POS (Software) industry knowledge is mandatory.
- POS (Hardware) knowledge is desirable.
- Experience in Business Development/Management Consulting is essential.
- Experience in SaaS and Fin-tech industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated performance in onboarding clients during prior business development roles.
- Ability to build rapport with prospects and maintain long-term relationships with decision makers.
- Strong sales closure experience.
- Process orientation and understanding of sales processes and review mechanisms.
- Good networking and understanding of B2B SaaS industry.
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, listening, written—and presentation skills.
- Self-starter and self-reliant, self-motivated, willing to take on challenges, learn, and develop.
- Strong negotiation skills and a competitive, confident approach.
