About the roleAs a Territory Manager at Halter, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth and ensuring customer success within your designated territory. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting ambitious growth targets while acting as Halter’s on‑the‑ground representative. The role requires a proactive and hands‑on approach, focusing on both expansion and long‑term customer satisfaction.
You will prioritize daily efforts that optimize performance and drive value for your customers. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, including Product, Support, and Customer Onboarding, you’ll share field insights to ensure Halter’s technology continues to meet the needs of US farmers.
This role covers the Central/Northern region of Oklahoma. Frequent travel is required as part of this role.
What your day could look like- Prospecting New Business: Driving up driveways, attending local cattle auctions, meeting with local livestock, cattleman’s, and stockman’s associations, building your new business pipeline through outbound lead generation and fielding inbound leads promptly.
- In-Field Sales: Getting hands and boots dirty, discussing Halter over coffee at a kitchen table, in the horse saddle, or on a side‑by‑side in a pasture, helping potential customers understand the value of Halter.
- Expanding Existing Opportunities: Seeking new opportunities to expand relationships and increase value for existing customers.
- Hitting Sales Targets: Managing today’s deals while keeping next month in sights, confident in pipeline management and lead qualification.
- Customer Account Management: Maintaining close relationships post‑sale, ensuring ongoing satisfaction, providing support, and addressing challenges with Halter’s products.
- Territory Ownership: Taking pride in an entire territory, meeting with local, state, and federal stakeholders, and building lasting relationships with regional agricultural groups.
- Customer Onboarding: Owning the end‑to‑end customer experience during onboarding and deployment, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation across teams.
- Field Learnings & Feedback: Gathering customer feedback in your territory and advocating for their needs.
- Collaborating with Support Teams: Partnering across Halter to resolve customer issues quickly and ensuring full support for customers in your territory.
- Attending Industry Events: Leveraging relevant industry and Halter events to generate leads and deepen relationships with existing customers.
- Contributing to the US Sales Strategy: Working with the broader team to optimize and evolve the sales process for the US market.
- Driven Attitude & Communication skills: Results‑driven, motivated, adaptable, and proactive in high‑stakes environments.
- Ranching / Cattle
Experience:
