Shelter Case Manager
Youth & Family Services of North Central Oklahoma, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, organized, and mission driven Shelter Case Manager to support youth residing in our Emergency Youth Shelter under the Runaway and Homeless Youth Basic Center Program.
This position plays a critical role in helping youth stabilize during crisis, reconnect with safe supports, and move toward long term positive outcomes. If you are committed to trauma informed care and believe every young person deserves safety and dignity, we would love to hear from you.
What You Will DoAs a Shelter Case Manager, you will provide comprehensive case management services to youth in shelter care. Responsibilities include intake and assessment, individualized service planning, family engagement, school coordination, community referrals, documentation, and aftercare follow up.
You will collaborate closely with shelter staff, clinicians, schools, DHS, law enforcement, and community partners to ensure coordinated and compliant services. You will also assist with crisis response, safety planning, and backup support to shelter operations when needed.
This role includes participation in on call coverage, evenings, weekends, and holiday availability as required.

This position requires flexibility. Daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and occasional holiday coverage may be required depending on youth needs, crisis response, and program coverage. Reliable attendance and adaptability are essential.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a closely related field preferred.
- Experience working with runaway, homeless, or at risk youth preferred.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high stress or crisis situations.
- Valid driver’s license required. Must be able to safely operate agency vehicles, including driving in urban and high traffic areas such as Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and other populated communities for appointments, training, or program services.
- Must successfully pass all required background checks and screenings.
- Residence within twenty five miles of 605 W. Oxford Ave., Enid, Oklahoma is required to ensure reliable response during on call assignments and emergencies.
This position requires regular standing, walking, and community engagement with youth. Staff must be able to walk for extended periods during outings such as parks, zoos, museums, appointments, and other off site activities.
The role requires the ability to operate a company vehicle in daylight, darkness, and various weather conditions. This is a safety sensitive position due to direct responsibility for youth safety and well being.
