Under the general direction of the City Manager, the Assistant to the City Manager performs highly responsible administrative, analytical, and professional-level work in support of City operations and strategic initiatives. This position serves as a key liaison between the City Manager’s Office, departments, elected officials, and the public, ensuring efficient coordination of projects, communications, and policy implementation.
Responsibilities- Monitor the City Manager’s office and legal services budgets.
- Serve as a liaison to various outside organizations.
- Manage programs.
- Perform research and organizational analyses for City departments and divisions.
- Interact with other City employees and citizens.
