Senior Reliability Engineer

The Senior Reliability Engineer plays a critical leadership role in advancing asset reliability, equipment performance, and maintenance excellence across manufacturing operations.

• Lead and standardize reliability engineering programs across manufacturing facilities, including FMECA, RCA, PM optimization, and precision maintenance.
• Optimize the EAM/CMMS system (e.g., Maximo) to ensure data integrity, asset hierarchy alignment, accurate work order tracking, and analytics.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition‑based maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Conduct asset criticality assessments to guide maintenance strategies, spare parts stocking levels, and risk‑based decision‑making.
• Lead failure investigations using structured methodologies such as 5‑Why, fishbone, and RCM‑based RCA.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, procurement, and maintenance teams to drive equipment performance improvements.
• Train and mentor plant reliability engineers, planners, technicians, and maintenance supervisors on reliability tools and best practices.
• Analyze equipment downtime data to identify trends and prioritize improvement initiatives that support OEE targets.
• Support capital projects through reliability input during design review, commissioning, and startup stages.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste and optimize maintenance workflows.
• Some travel to various sites in North America will be required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, reliability engineering, or asset management within a manufacturing environment.
• Expert‑level proficiency with EAM/CMMS platforms, preferably IBM Maximo.
• Strong knowledge of reliability engineering tools such as RCA, RCM, FMEA/FMECA, and condition‑based monitoring.
• Experience implementing predictive technologies (vibration, thermography, lubrication analysis, ultrasound).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Mini Tab, AutoCAD, and data visualization tools.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt preferred).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Ability to lead change and influence teams across multiple sites without direct reporting authority.

• Competitive base salary: $106,000 – $129,000
