At TAS Environmental Services, LP the Technician will assist in the day-to-day operations to include emergency response, cleaning of equipment, inventory of supplies and assets, and industrial tank cleaning. This role involves a dirty and physically demanding work environment with strenuous labor.

- Handling various products, hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Performing industrial work and biohazard cleanups
- Staging, profiling, and processing for disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
- Assist in removal of soil, debris, and other materials, and cleaning up spill sites
- Operate and clean equipment
- Maintain logs of working hours in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
- Up to 25% travel as needed; location may differ
- Other duties as assigned

- Technical proficiency with field equipment
- Knowledge of environmental regulations

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing at times
- Must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds
- Must frequently climb stairs and ladders
- May occasionally work at heights
- Ability to wear personal equipment, including respiratory protection
- Work may involve office setting and physical job sites
- Able to work in confined spaces when needed
- Must be clean shaven when working around hazardous waste to ensure proper respirator seal
- HAZWOPER and Confined Space certifications preferred
- Ability to read, write, and do mathematics
- Class C (Texas) or equivalent required
- Level 1 Technicians will obtain and maintain several certifications: HAZWOPER 40; OSHA 10 and 30; MSHA; CSE/R; CPR; H2S;
