Full-time Speech Language Pathologist Position
Full-time speech language pathologist position located in Ennis, TX, offering up to $50 per hour. The role supports patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates will develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to community health.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients for speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments
- Provide speech, language, cognitive, communication, and dysphagia therapy
- Perform swallowing evaluations and recommend treatment strategies
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and ongoing care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, case management, and other professionals
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and patient conferences
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility and regulatory standards
- Assist patients in achieving the highest possible level of communication and functional independence
- Follow all applicable state, federal, and facility policies and procedures
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Strong communication, assessment, documentation, and patient-care skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- New graduates may be considered depending on facility requirements
Skills:
- CCC-SLP certificate
- BLS/CPR certification
