Floor Technician

As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that the interior and exterior of our care center is clean and well-maintained.

As a Floor Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Sweeping and mopping all facility floors

• Pulling trash from trash receptacles located outside the facility

• Emptying and wiping down all outside ash trays

• Picking up all trash on facility grounds

• Cleaning and stocking janitor closets

• Striping, waxing, and buffing all facility floors as needed

• Shampooing carpets throughout the facility as needed

• Power washing all concrete around the facility as needed

• Experience in stripping, waxing, and buffing floors

• Basic janitorial experience

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Flexibility in work schedule

• Good organizational skills

• Good communication skills

• Ability to exercise good judgment and tact in dealing with residents, resident families, and staff members

• Ability to lift up to 65lbs

• Walking, standing, reaching, stooping, squatting, turning, pivoting, and bending as needed

As a Floor Technician at Blue Bonnet Rehab at Ennis, you will be working in a fast-paced healthcare environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential. You will be working closely with other team members to ensure that our facility is always clean, safe, and welcoming for our residents and staff.
