Daily job expectations include working safely and following all policies and procedures, identifying and reporting unsafe conditions immediately, checking equipment for unsafe unusual conditions and correcting or reporting findings to maintenance, following all site safety policies and wearing appropriate PPE, performing daily utility rounds and aiding in basic troubleshooting of equipment, ensuring that routine job tasks are completed, charging, processing, and drumming MT-17, charging, processing, drumming/loading vinyl ester blends, drumming raw materials, finished product in coatings, PEBB, and manually when needed, preparing equipment and permits for maintenance work, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, focusing on teamwork, communication, and doing your best to do a good job, aiding in training team members, aiding shipping and receiving at the shipping gates including loading box trailers, unloading inbound raw materials (bulk and package), loading finished product, assisting inventory coordinator with cycle counts and inventory control, sticking bulk tanks when requested, performing environmental duties such as pumping waste drums, loading J-1, transferring 600 and 602, transferring solvent from south tank to waste trailer or K-7 or M-57, performing routine scale verifications, participating on the safety action committee, participating in process hazard analysis (PHA).
Routine job expectations include demonstrating good teamwork skills in performing all job functions, communicating openly with department managers, team managers, and production assistant, supporting company policies and programs, assisting in training new employees, performing other duties as designated by team manager, following all company and department procedures, using all computer-based systems as required by job duties, knowing safety equipment location and use, working overtime as needed to cover the requirements of the shift, auditing VCS books for completion, annually auditing and reviewing assigned procedures, completing special projects as described by production manager/production assistant, and assisting in ensuring that routine job tasks are completed.
