Quality Assurance Lab Tech I Pay: $17/HR

Summary:

The Quality Assurance Lab Technician I provides assistance for the Quality Assurance laboratory with various Quality initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in obtaining supplies and calibrating equipment

Analyzing production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics

Investigates quality and production issues including customer complaints per supervisor requests

Prepare samples for internal and external customers as requested

Maintains quality production records in a timely manner

Assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor in maintaining the ISO
9001 responsibilities

Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of shop, department, or employees

Ensure adherence to appropriate government regulations and company procedures

Any ad-hoc task or project assigned by management

Qualifications:

Education/

Experience:

High School or GED desired
Two (2) years’ Manufacturing or Lab experience, a plus
Bilingual (Required)
Demonstrated high level of computer experience
Demonstrated good communication skills
Valid Drivers’ License

Computer

Skills:

Ability and knowledge in Microsoft office applications (word, excel, and power point)

Ability and knowledge in LIMS Software
