Audit plant personnel and procedures to ensure compliance with raw material, finished product, and packaging specifications. Assist, coach, train, and support other departments and personnel as needed.

• Ensure Production personnel are testing finished product and recording results in compliance with requirements.
• Ensure Production personnel are properly packaging products in compliance with requirements.
• Ensure Blending personnel are testing and recording results in compliance with requirements.
• Ensure Production personnel scrap on shift or put on hold non-conforming material.
• All occurrences of product put on hold by Production and QA are designated as such, recorded on NC Tracker, and reported on a monthly basis for trending.
• Investigate in-process quality problems and initiate a Corrective Action Request (CAR) if needed.
• Conduct warehouse audits and initiate a CAR if needed.
• Perform as an internal auditor by ensuring compliance with specifications and procedures and initiate a CAR if needed.
• Use of micrometers, calipers, tape measures, 1’ rules, and all raw material and finished goods lab equipment.
• Maintain accurate databases as needed.
• Conduct testing and/or measurements and record results in Statistical Database accurately and as needed.
• Assist in the development of work instructions and forms as requested.
• Train new employees as needed.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

• High School Diploma desired; additional education desired.
• Experience in a quality control position is desirable.
• Experience in the plastics extrusion industry is desirable.
• Basic computer literacy required; use of Excel is required.
• Light lifting up to 30 pounds required.

The actual wage offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity.
