As a Security Officer Full Time Access Compliance in Ennis, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $16.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue and retrieve visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and applicable emergency responders, reporting unusual activity, policy violations, and security-related incidents to Allied Universal leadership.

• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
