CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver

As a Dedicated Local Truck Driver, you'll enjoy consistent customers and predictable miles, making it easier to plan your week and know exactly what to expect on your paycheck. • Average $1,400 per week / $72,800 per year
• Starting pay: $0.545 cpm
• Average miles per week: 2,000 miles
• Stop pay: $27.50 per stop (15 stops/week on average)
• Additional pay: detention, breakdown, and layover pay available

• Home daily with occasional overnights
• Work hours:
  
  Start between 12:00 a.m.
  
  - 5:00 a.m., and end between 1:00 p.m.
  
  - 4:30 p.m.
• Monday - Friday with some weekends required

• Routes:
  Deliver preloaded trailer of pet supplies within a 250-400-mile radius of Ennis, TX, including Oklahoma and Central/ South Texas
• Freight:
  No-touch freight; the customer unloads at delivery
• Load Types:
  Mix of drop & hook and live unload; bump the dock but never touch the freight
• Secure loaded trailers and empty pallet trailers with straps provided
• Occasional overnight stays in South Texas in a sleeper unit; occasional weekend work available
• May be required to pick up third party backhauls after deliveries
• Assist with other Averitt accounts as needed
• New Volvo & Freightliner tractors (parked at customer's location in Ennis, TX)
