Position: Early Years Assistant

As Early Years Assistant you will ensure children attending the Daycare setting have the best start in life by providing a safe, welcoming, high quality, inclusive early education environment, for children from 6 weeks to 12 years.

Responsibilities
  • To work in partnership with families to promote and facilitate positive parenting and the enhancement of the role of parents as ‘first educators’.
  • The post holder is required innovatively to support and extend play experiences to ensure early outcomes are achieved.
Skills and Qualifications entrale
  • NVQ II in Children’s Care Learning and Development or Health and Social Care Qualification /or equivalent/ or willing to undertake study to gain qualification.
  • One years’ experience working in an early childcare setting.

Salary: NJC Scale, Point 3 (£24,027) per annum pro rata
