Supervisor, Management, Operations Manager

Tasks and responsibilities

As a Supervisor you will manage Team Leader(s) and Warehouse employees, and are responsible for achieving all department objectives.

• Achieve departmental objectives
• Analyze departmental results
• Improve productivity and efficiency
• Make improvement proposals to improve services and increase customer satisfaction
• Minimize errors and shorten lead times
• Conduct consultations within and outside the department
• Act as point of contact for both the internal organization and suppliers related to the department
• Lead, coach, train and motivate the Team leaders
• Coach and motivate the team and train new employees
• Work in a continuous process improvement environment within our network organization
• Report to the Warehouse Manager

• MBO+ / HBO working and thinking level
• Demonstrable experience in managing large groups
• Good knowledge of logistics processes
• Good knowledge of warehouse management system (preferably WMi)
• Good communication skills and positive attitude
• Strong leadership skills and able to motivate a team
• Decisive, problem‑solving skills
• Analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge and command of Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean Six Sigma
• Flexible and stress‑resistant and able to work overtime in (and if necessary out of) season
• Willingness to work in the evening shift (15:00 - 00:00)
