Job DescriptionThe Enterprise Family YMCA is seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching dance to a variety of age groups and skill levels, fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging dance classes for children, teens, and adults.
- Create lesson plans that accommodate different skill levels and promote skill development.
- Encourage a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Organize and coordinate dance recitals, performances, and special events.
- Maintain accurate attendance and progress records for students.
- Collaborate with YMCA staff to promote dance programs and community involvement.
- Ensure all classes comply with YMCA policies and safety standards.
- Proven experience as a dance instructor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of various dance styles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages.
- Organizational skills to manage class schedules and events effectively.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
