Desired Experience &

Qualifications:

• Current OT (Occupational Therapist) license in Washington State, or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Thorough understanding of IEP processes and goal development
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with educators, families, and other specialists
• Ability to assess students' functional needs and develop practical intervention plans
• Flexibility and creativity in addressing the diverse needs of a student population

Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement goal-oriented intervention plans aligned with students' IEPs
• Provide direct therapy services individually and in group settings
• Document evaluations, progress reports, and service logs in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to foster an inclusive environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations
• Adapt activities and materials to support student access to curriculum and school routines
