Housekeeping Lead; SEASONAL - Crystal Mountain Hotel

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspects all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair
• Provides efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department
• Ensures that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag and designated PPE
• Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards on a consistent basis; identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrains them appropriately
• Completes accident investigations and takes steps to prevent future accidents
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift
• Performs opening and closing shift duties
• Notifies maintenance department of needed maintenance repairs
• Monitors cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances
• Other duties as assigned

• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members

• Housekeeping leadership experience preferred
• High School Diploma/GED
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
