Job Summary

Substitute Support Aide/Teacher Assistant

Ephrata Area School District, 803 Oak Boulevard, Ephrata, PA, has a continuous need for substitute Support Aides/Teacher Assistants throughout the school year. Substitutes work part-time schedules with hours and days that vary depending on need. Typical work hours will be scheduled during the school day on days that school is in session.

Substitutes will provide student-specific support and classroom assistance to elementary or secondary students and will include assisting students with daily living skills, learning activities, and behavioral support.

Required Education and

Certifications:

High school graduate or equivalent. Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required. The following criminal clearances obtained within the last 12 months are required upon an offer of employment
- Act 34 PA Criminal Record
- Act 151 PA Child Abuse
- Act 114 - FBI Criminal Background Check and TB test.
