Location: Fairmount Homes - Ephrata, PA
Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

As a Laundry Aide, you'll help create a clean, comfortable environment by ensuring that our residents' linens and clothing are fresh, cared for, and handled with dignity.

What We Offer:
- Starting pay of $17.60-$19.05/hour
- Weekend differential: +$1.25/hour
- Paid 30-minute lunch break

- Collect soiled laundry, handling it safely to prevent the spread of airborne bacteria
- Follow proper precautions when washing "contaminated" or "isolation" linens
- Sort laundry items by category, wash, dry, and fold according to material type
- Distribute clean laundry to designated areas using laundry carts
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and carts
- Protect residents' linens and clothing during the laundering process
- Ability to follow simple oral directions
- Previous laundry experience helpful but not required-we'll train you!
- Working knowledge of commercial laundry equipment a plus
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to our mission and values
