Preferred Qualifications and

Experience:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with state certification
• Experience in pediatric or school-based nursing preferred
• Proficiency with suctioning and tube feeding procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student throughout the school day
• Administer and monitor suctioning and tube feeding according to prescribed protocols
• Act as a supportive resource within the classroom, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with school staff, other nurses, and families to ensure comprehensive student care
• Serve as backup for the health suite and provide coverage within the school building when your assigned student is absent
• Keep thorough documentation of care and communicate effectively with all relevant parties
