Certified Nursing Assistant

Fairmount Homes, Inc., a faith-based, nonprofit retirement community in Ephrata, PA, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in our skilled nursing and personal care areas. CNAs assist with daily living activities, vital signs, mobility, and safety while honoring each resident's dignity, preferences, and spiritual needs. Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
• Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and safe feeding while promoting dignity and independence
• Support residents with transfers and use of mobility devices following safety and fall-prevention protocols
• Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and common areas following infection control standards
• Document care provided accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies
• Offer emotional support, companionship, and engage residents in daily activities
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and other team members to deliver person-centered care
• Follow care plans and participate in care conferences as needed
• Adhere to Fairmount Homes' faith-based values, privacy, and regulatory requirements
