Fuel Sales Associate

Weis Markets - 331 North Reading Road - Responsibilities:
Assist customers who need help with pay-at-the-pump transactions and, if appropriate, help fill vehicles with fuel;
Operate cash register and perform related checkout procedures, including providing receipts and bagging purchased merchandise;
Maintain receipt tapes at each dispenser and inventory of fuel, vehicle accessories, and various other products;
Manage funds including cash, checks, debit and credit slips; ensure cash drawer security;
Interact with POS vendor to correct problems with POS system, dispensers, and/or tank monitoring system;
Set up displays or promotional materials;
Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner;
Maintain knowledge of weekly ads or specials to answer customer questions and verify accuracy at checkout;
Follow sanitation, cleaning schedules, and department guidelines to keep work areas, equipment, counters, and display cases clean and compliant with health/OSHA requirements;
Dispose of trash properly and stay alert to safety issues around fuel pumps and combustibles;
Cooperate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department and store function;
Continue to improve job performance and utilize provided PPE
