This position reports to the Senior Manager of Asset Management and provides strategic leadership for Asset Management Data and Information while establishing governance and enterprise framework for asset data and information systems to enable data-driven decision-making, risk management, and long-term asset investment optimization across the organization. This position ensures delivery of high-quality, reliable data and actionable insights that support asset lifecycle strategies, capital planning, and performance optimization.

The role serves as a key advisor in aligning asset information capabilities with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. This position also advises on work management systems and the GIS system, driving standardization, integration, and continuous improvement across the organization. The scope encompasses asset data governance, information systems, and work management enablement for all physical assets within Power Production, Power Delivery, Fiber, Facilities, IT, and Fleet.

Through strong cross-functional collaboration, this role fosters consistency, accountability, and operational excellence across departments while advancing the maturity of Grant PUD’s asset management program.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead the development and execution of the Data and Information functions of the District’s Asset Management (AM) System and Asset Management Roadmap, aligning with enterprises strategy and asset management objectives, including integration of GIS as a core asset information system.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of asset management systems, GIS, data standards, and business processes across the organization.
• Establish and govern Asset Data Standards, the Asset Information Strategy, and an enterprise Asset Data Map defining data ownership, sources, system relationships, and geospatial data integration.
• Define and manage asset data requirements, including spatial data, to support risk modeling, lifecycle planning, whole life cost analysis, and capital investment decisions.
• Ensure asset and GIS data integrity, accessibility, security, and lifecycle management through strong data governance and quality practices.
• Lead integration and data exchange across GIS, asset systems and work management platforms to enable consistent, data-driven decision-making.
