The Inpatient Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner plays a critical role in supporting patient care, coordinating care transitions, and ensuring that high-quality healthcare remains accessible close to home.
This position partners closely with the care team to support both immediate patient needs and the long-term health of the hospital and community.
The OpportunityProvide inpatient care in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital Manage admissions, daily rounding, and discharge coordination Support swing bed patients and care transitions Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery Participate in medical staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives Provide scheduled 24-hour coverage including in-house and on-call responsibilities Maintain or develop procedural skills including central lines, chest tubes, lumbar puncture, and intubation

What We Are Looking ForActive ARNP and RN licensure Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) Unrestricted Washington State license, or ability to obtain Current BLS and ACLS certifications Experience managing acute, chronic, and critical conditions Comfort practicing in a rural or semi-rural environment
