Enviro Vantage is growing and looking for Demolition General Laborers
.
- Execute specific demolition tasks as instructed
- Clean and prepare project sites
- Work off ladders, lifts or scaffolding and with mechanical equipment as needed
- Operate hand tools and power tools
- Plasma
- Arc
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Focused on SAFETY at all times
- Organized, hardworking and motivated
- Strong team player with positive attitude
- Minimum of 1 year construction or demolition experience required
- Experience with construction hand tools required
- Experience working outside during all seasons and in all-weather required
- Able to be at job site on time
- Able to pass pre-employment post-offer physical
- OSHA 10 or higher construction training preferred; if not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
- Coordination:
Ability to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy construction sites - Attendance:
Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are an essential job function - Working Conditions:
Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheres - PPE:
Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessary - Lifting:
Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly - Climbing:
Ability to climb temporary or permanent stairs and ladders - Regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
